
The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, will attend a dinner tonight with the main business leaders of the country as part of the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA) to be held at the Alvear Palace. Discussions on substantive issues will begin on Tuesday at the Four Seasons and will be inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Pablo Quirno. This forum gathers influential economists, business leaders, and investors from the region, as well as Argentine officials and governors.
The presence of business people with interests in energy, mining, and telecommunications is expected, along with other key figures from the country. The IEFA aims to promote connection, collaboration, and innovation to address global challenges, organizing annual events that feature heads of state, business leaders, union representatives, academics, and civil society.
This year, Minister Caputo will lead the government discussions, accompanied by Demian Reidel, who plays a central role in developing the Argentine Nuclear Plan, and prominent businessmen such as Alejandro Bulgheroni, José Luis Manzano, and Augusto Fabozzi. Also present will be Rolando Figueroa, governor of Neuquén, and Horacio Marín, CEO of YPF, who will address topics such as the potential of Vaca Muerta and the mineral wealth in the region.
The forum discussions will also focus on the role of Artificial Intelligence in boosting the regional industry, as well as analyzing capital markets and their impact on the region by financial sector specialists. It is a space aimed at debating and seeking joint solutions to current economic challenges.
