The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) informed about the updated amounts of family allowances for the month of April 2025, after applying a 20% retention. In this regard, beneficiaries will receive $268,324 per child, while the Universal Allowance for Pregnancy (AUE) has been set at $102,693.70 per pregnancy. ANSES retains 20% monthly, so the direct payment will be $82,404 per child, and the Universal Allowance for Children with Disabilities is set at $335,405 per child.
The amounts of the allowances, which are not adjusted for mobility, remain as follows: $52,250 for families with one child, $81,936 for families with two children, and $108,062 for families with three or more children. In addition, the Milk Complement of the 1000 Days Plan has been implemented, aimed at holders of the AUH with children under three years old and pregnant women receiving the AUE. This benefit amounts to $37,825 and is intended for the purchase of milk and essential foods for the growth and development of children.
For example, a family with four minor children receiving the AUH and the Food Card, and whose youngest child under three years old receives the Milk Complement, would receive a total of $475,503 in April 2025. Regarding the payment schedule established by ANSES for April 2025, it specifies that retirees and pensioners will have payment dates according to the ending of their ID numbers.
As for the Food Card, a financial assistance aimed at ensuring access to the basic food basket, ANSES has announced an increase in social benefits according to the new inflation figure from INDEC. This increase also affects beneficiaries of the Universal Allowance for Children and the Universal Allowance for Pregnancy, including the Food Card and the Milk Complement of the 1000 Days Plan.
On the other hand, it has been announced that, in addition to the increase in benefits, ANSES will pay an additional $40,000 in April. However, pension holders who do not meet certain requirements will be removed from the system. As of April 2025, the Universal Allowance for Children (AUH) has been set at $102,693.70 per child, while the Unique System of Family Allowances (SUAF) establishes $51,348.94 per child for the first income level.
