Update on Retirement and Pensions in Argentina

The payment schedule for ANSES retirement and pension payments has been established, both for those exceeding and not exceeding minimum amounts. For pensions and retirements that do not exceed the minimum amount, the schedule is as follows: DNI ending in 0 will be paid on March 12, in 1 on March 13, in 2 and 3 on March 14, in 4 on March 17, in 5 and 6 on March 18, in 7 and 8 on March 19, and in 9 on March 20. Regarding amounts, with the bonus of $70,000, the total to be received would be $355,262.39.

For pensions and retirements that exceed a minimum amount, the schedule is as follows: DNI ending in 0 and 1 will be paid on March 21, in 2 and 3 on March 25, in 4 and 5 on March 26, in 6 and 7 on March 27, and in 8 and 9 on March 28. It is also reported that the maximum pension will be increased and the Universal Pension for the Elderly will rise. Meanwhile, Non-Contributory Pensions will be paid according to the last digit of the DNI.

Regarding the expected increases, it is estimated that the minimum pension will increase from $279,121.71 in March to $285,262.39 in April with the bonus included. Likewise, various benefits such as the Non-Contributory Pension for disability and old age will see an increase in their amounts. Additionally, it is expected that the latest inflation data will influence the projected increase for April.

Following recent incidents in Congress, the importance of measures directly affecting retirees is highlighted. The 2.4% increase in pensions, retirements, and family allowances is linked to the retail price index from INDEC. This increase is in addition to the $70,000 bonus for minimum amounts, providing additional relief to this sector of the population.
