In March 2025, the National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) will make the payment of the Annual School Allowance, an extra allocation to support children and teenagers at the beginning of the school year. This financial support is paid once a year.
Beneficiaries must have submitted the School Certificate of the minor before December 31 of the previous year to receive the payment automatically during the third month of the year. If this submission is not made, the amount will not be received, and it will be necessary to manage the allocation in Mi ANSES or at an office of the agency.
The Annual School Allowance for 2025 is $85,000 per child and an extraordinary bonus will be given once in March. This amount will be updated annually. This benefit applies to children from 45 days to 17 years old attending initial, primary, or secondary education, excluding tertiary or university courses.
For children with disabilities, there is no age limit as long as they are enrolled in an educational institution or a rehabilitation program with registered teachers. Beneficiaries who can access this extra payment are those receiving Family Allowance for Children, Family Allowance for Children with Disabilities, Universal Child Allowance, and Universal Child Allowance for Children with Disabilities.
It is important to highlight that in the case of the Allowance for Children with Disabilities, there is no cap for the Annual School Allowance. To guarantee the benefit, it is necessary to present the School Certificate, either virtually or at an ANSES office, without a prior appointment. The procedure can be carried out through the "Mi ANSES" platform, generating a form for each child, taking it to the educational institution for signature and later uploading a photo of the certificate on the platform. The requirements to access the 2025 School Allowance include that the family group's income does not exceed $3,917,492.
