Mandatory Conciliation Prevents Strike in the Oil Industry

Tonight, the Ministry of Human Capital issued a mandatory reconciliation after two labor unions from the oilseed sector announced an indefinite strike. The unions confirmed that they will comply with the reconciliation, which means that the strike is currently suspended, thus avoiding an immediate impact on exports from the agri-industrial sector.

The oilseed unions had planned this measure across the industry starting at 6:00 AM this Wednesday due to the company's failure to pay 30% of the salaries by the agri-industrial company Vicentin, as well as delays in collective bargaining negotiations.

"Although the protest has been suspended for the entire oilseed industry, it will remain specifically in place at Vicentin's plants," union sources stated, emphasizing the importance of upholding the working conditions of employees in this context.
