The Blue Guru Warns about the Dollar in Argentina

Financial analyst Salvador Di Stefano, also known as the Guru of the Blue, examined the economic landscape and provided an analysis of the dollar situation. In his statements, Di Stefano mentioned that the LIBRA case will not affect anything and that President Javier Milei is "tied" to the fiscal surplus to reach an agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In an interview with El Observador, the expert pointed out that in previous agreements with the IMF, the focus was on reducing the fiscal deficit and monetary issuance, aspects that are currently not being met. Di Stefano stated that the IMF will likely seek to provide dollars so that Argentina can lift the currency control, which in turn would allow the country to access debt markets in 2026 and settle its debt with the IMF.

Regarding the possibility of a devaluation, the Guru of the Blue completely ruled out that scenario by highlighting that the interest rate is above the devaluation rate, which means that the value of the dollar will remain stable for an extended period at current levels. According to Di Stefano, the official dollar currently trades at $ 1040.25 for buying and $ 1080.25 for selling at the Banco Nación, while the blue dollar stands at $ 1210 for buying and $ 1230 for selling.

Regarding his projections, the analyst forecasts a favorable scenario for the year 2025 and challenging conditions for companies in terms of profitability. He concluded his statements by highlighting this positive outlook for the economic future.
