
Vista company met the production goals announced to the market in April of last year. In 2024, total production was 69,660 barrels of oil equivalent per day, representing a 36% year-on-year increase, while crude oil production reached 60,418 barrels per day, a year-on-year increase of 39%.
Miguel Galuccio, president and CEO of Vista, highlighted: "The growth in our proven reserves, along with a strong replacement rate and a reserve life of 15 years, reflects the quality of our land and our ability as operators to deliver long-term value to our shareholders."
In the fourth quarter of 2024, Vista reported an average daily production of 85,276 barrels of oil equivalent per day, an increase of 17% compared to the previous quarter. This growth was driven by the commissioning of 25 new wells between August and December of last year.
During the same period, the company accelerated its development plan in Vaca Muerta, achieving the commissioning of 50 new wells. Vista, as the second unconventional oil operator in Argentina, reported that its proven and estimated reserves as of December 31, 2024, increased by 18% year-on-year, reaching 375.2 million barrels of oil equivalent.
Additions to reserves amounted to 82.2 million barrels of oil equivalent, with a reserve replacement rate of 323%. Galuccio emphasized that in 2024, they intensified activities in Vaca Muerta, consolidating their position as a significant player in the sector.
