Former president Guzmán stated: "The president is a criminal or really naive." In an extensive statement on his official account, Guzmán attempted to satirize and clarify what happened with the "ponzi" platform that Milei recently recommended.
"EL ZANAHORIA is a great vehicle for financing small businesses in Argentina, a private project to promote the country's growth. Buy it, it's really good!" Guzmán sarcastically wrote in his statement. Later, thousands of people began to buy shares in EL ZANAHORIA following the president's recommendation.
Guzmán questioned the president's attitude, suggesting that he is either a criminal or truly naive. To illustrate his point, Guzmán presented a hypothetical scenario with a satirical touch highlighting the carefree promotion of the digital asset "EL ZANAHORIA" by the president.
The former Minister of Economy criticized Javier Milei after the $LIBRA scandal, suggesting that Caputo's attitude could attract new investors. Guzmán emphasized that about 44,000 people who invested based on the president's promoted tweet now own shares of EL ZANAHORIA, which in reality are worthless.
In his statement, Guzmán also mentioned his colleague, the current Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, implying that the situation was an opportunity to sell the shares and turn it into profit. Guzmán's criticism focused on the fact that those who invested realized too late that they were scammed when the share price reached 5 USD and continued to rise.
