Schiuma mentioned the case of Libra as a classic example of what has happened recently and advised caution when talking about scams and calling certain coins "cryptos" if they did not have real backing. She stated that the world of "meme coins" is interesting, but that most people are aware of the risks when investing in them, noting that the entire industry was impacted by the situation.
Regarding President Milei's actions, Schiuma considered that he was probably receiving bad advice and should seek counsel from industry experts. Finally, the specialist lamented that these episodes generated distrust in the cryptocurrency space and harmed the perception of the entire industry.
