One of the trends highlights the construction of housing and offices with automated lighting, climate control, and security. This aligns with the idea of Smart Cities, which aim to improve the quality of life for residents, optimize urban services, and promote sustainability through technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, data analysis, and automation systems.
The identified trends include Smart Mobility and Sustainable Transport, focusing on the expansion of electromobility, the integration of bicycles and electric scooters into transport networks, and the implementation of digital platforms to enhance public transport planning.
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies are also priorities, with the implementation of smart energy networks, growth in the adoption of solar panels, and distributed generation. Additionally, incentives are promoted for energy-efficient buildings.
Other trends address the use of IoT and Sensors in Urban Infrastructure, the promotion of Digital Government and Paperless Cities, the Development of Technology Districts, Smart Security, Smart Buildings and Home Automation, Smart Tourism and Digital Experiences, Blockchain and Digital Economy, as well as Climate Resilience and Sustainable Cities.
