The airline JetSmart announced its plan to incorporate regular flights from Buenos Aires to the cities of Trelew, Chubut, and Resistencia, Chaco, starting on April 23 and April 30 respectively. These new destinations reinforce the airline's commitment to connect more cities in the country at affordable rates.

"Chaco and Chubut are examples of that joint work and dialogue also with the private sector, and today we can announce these two new routes for the provinces to add connectivity," stated Leandro Zdero, Governor of Chaco.

For his part, Ignacio Torres, Governor of Chubut, highlighted the importance of connectivity in tourism, economy, and integration of the territory, strengthening the strategic position of the region in Patagonia.

Gonzalo Pérez Corral, Country Manager of JetSMART in Argentina, emphasized the airline's effort to listen and address the provinces' needs, mentioning the growth recorded last December and the relevance of the new announcements.

According to data from the National Administration of Civil Aviation (ANAC), JetSmart experienced a 48% increase in the number of passengers transported on domestic flights in December 2024 compared to the same month in 2023.

Regarding international flights, the airline also saw a 5% increase in the same period. JetSmart operates in Argentina with a fleet of 12 Airbus A320 aircraft, including CEO and NEO models, recognized for their efficiency and sustainability.

The new routes to Chubut and Chaco will have five weekly frequencies, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with promotional fares starting from $34,600 per segment, taxes included.

"The commitment that JetSmart has in Argentina and the work we do in the country continues to bear fruit," stated the airline.
