Argentine Trains Announces Changes Due to Works

The company Trenes Argentinos announced that from February 7 to 21, work will be carried out on the platforms of the Roca line, affecting services traveling from Plaza Constitución to La Plata and Bosques (via Quilmes). During this period, trains will not stop at the Darío Santillán and Maximiliano Kosteki stations.

Additionally, services heading to Bosques via Temperley will also not stop at the station at certain times. From Monday to Friday, there will be no stops from 10:00 to 16:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00, and no stops on weekends either. However, trains heading to Plaza Constitución will operate normally at all times.

The work at the Darío Santillán and Maximiliano Kosteki stations is due to the need to dismantle the temporary wooden platforms, used since 2015, to advance the construction of new permanent platforms. These new platforms will have significant improvements such as elevation, accessibility, audio and video equipment, renewed lighting, updated restrooms, and modernized shelters, all aimed at enhancing the safety and comfort of passengers.
