Juan Carlos de Pablo alerted about an unresolved issue in Javier Milei's management that could affect productive activity. In an interview with Radio Mitre, the economist expressed his concern about the temporary reduction of export taxes, stating that this measure could affect state revenue.
De Pablo questioned the Government's priorities regarding the agricultural sector, asserting that the reduction of taxes should not generate a fiscal deficit. He suggested that the Government expects an increase in fiscal revenue through economic reactivation to offset this measure.
Additionally, the economist mentioned the import liberalization policies that could jeopardize local production. For months, he has warned about the growing concern among local industries regarding the opening of the economy and the impact this could have on productive sectors.
Regarding the meeting of the Agricultural Liaison Table with Minister Luis Caputo, De Pablo did not rule out the possibility of extending benefits to other productive sectors. He stated that the fluctuation of international prices, as in the case of soybeans, should not be the only argument in negotiations.
