UBA Registration for 2025 Opening Soon

Enrollment for the first semester of 2025 at UBA will begin next week, covering re-enrollment and career changes. With a total of 114 undergraduate options spread across 13 faculties, many students have not yet decided which path to take.

When evaluating personal preferences, innate skills, family environment, and recommendations from others, students consider the length of the program, the level of demand, and job prospects. In Argentina, there are approximately 2.7 million university students, the majority enrolled in state institutions, according to data from the National Education Secretariat.

Artificial Intelligence can assist the undecided by suggesting three options that require less effort. First, it highlights Business Administration due to its lower intellectual load and attractive academic and job structure. Then, it mentions Graphic Design, considering it accessible and in high demand. Finally, it proposes Social Work, which requires a service vocation and fewer technical skills.

The search for less rigorous programs in terms of theoretical load attracts those seeking a less demanding academic experience. Areas such as Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology, focused on qualitative and theoretical analysis, are considered less technical. These disciplines promote critical thinking and social research, appealing to those who prefer interpretative and flexible approaches.

On the other hand, the most demanded careers are linked to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, economics, and health. Among them are Computer and Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Psychology, Nursing, Graphic Design, among others. In private universities, programs like Industrial Engineering, Medicine, and Bachelor's degrees in Economic Sciences are the most requested, according to a survey by Chequeado.
