Entre Ríos Stands Out in Renewable Energy Generation

A recent report on the implementation of Law 27.424 highlights the progress of the province of Entre Ríos and Enersa at the national level. Entre Ríos ranks as the province with the highest growth in generator users during 2024, occupying the fifth place in the number of connected generator users in Argentina. Additionally, it stands out in third place nationally in the number of ongoing procedures, reflecting users' interest in renewable generation and the injection of surpluses into the grid.

The president of Enersa, Ignacio Bergallo, emphasized that these achievements are the result of the joint efforts of Enersa, the Energy Secretariat of the Province, and the Provincial Regulatory Body of Energy of Entre Ríos (EPRE), through a provincial strategy to promote distributed generation. This effort is reflected in initiatives such as the GenER program, the creation of a tracking website, and raising user awareness about energy consumption. Bergallo stressed that the company focuses on innovation, efficiency, and strengthening infrastructure to maximize the use of renewable energies.

Thanks to these actions, in less than a year, Entre Ríos has managed to rank in the top 5 of generator users in the country. The province's future vision includes new insertion models for the industry, collaborative projects, and a more efficient management of the energy generated by users, steering it towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy model. These results demonstrate that coordinated efforts can turn challenges into opportunities for growth and development.
