ANSES Announces Additional Payment for AUH Beneficiaries

The National Administration of Social Security (ANSES) has announced that it will disburse an additional bonus of $405,000 to families that are beneficiaries of the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and meet the requirements of the Ministry of Human Capital. This benefit is aimed at households receiving the Unique Family Allowance System (SUAF) with children up to 3 years old.

The Health Supplement of the Thousand Days Plan has been disbursed since December 20, 2024. This annual payment is for a specific group of beneficiaries, as established in Law 27.611. The benefit is intended for children up to 3 years old receiving the AUH. Once the child reaches that age, the supplement stops being paid, but the amounts are based on the previous cycle.

The additional amounts for February are as follows: - Health Supplement for AUH: $98,128 in total. - AUH with disability: $319,524 per year. - Families in disadvantaged areas per child: $127,567 in total. - AUH with disability in disadvantaged areas: $415,382 annually.

Among the disadvantaged areas are several specific locations and provinces. To access the Health Supplement payment in December 2024, certain conditions are required, such as having received the AUH during 2023, the child being between 1 and 3 years old, having submitted the AUH Booklet, and being enrolled in the Sumar Plan.

The increase corresponding to February will be delayed until within 10 months. This provides special coverage for vulnerable women who decide to continue their pregnancies. In December, the Health Supplement payment was made, which is granted from when the child turns 12 months old until they are 3 years old, in line with the legalization of voluntary termination of pregnancy. ANSES makes the additional payment in December, fulfilling what is established for AUH beneficiaries.
