
President Javier Milei will participate in the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland. He will be introduced by the new president of the Forum, Borge Brende. Before his speech, Milei granted an interview to Bloomberg, where he discussed economic definitions and the importance of free trade agreements.
During his participation in the Forum, the Argentine president will speak for 30 minutes before world leaders and businessmen. Last year, in his first appearance at the event, Milei criticized international organizations for their view of capitalism and socialism, considering it a model that condemns to poverty. He also questioned the role of the State in the economy.
After his presentation at the Forum, Milei will meet with the CEO of The Coca Cola Company, James Quincey, and participate in a working meeting with executives from various sectors and countries. Additionally, he will receive the "Röpke Award" granted by the Liberales Institut and will give a speech in Zurich before returning to Buenos Aires.
The president and his delegation will leave Switzerland on Saturday at 5:30 PM, with a technical stop in Recife, Brazil, and are expected to arrive in Buenos Aires at 9:00 AM on Saturday. Milei's agenda in Davos includes important meetings and discussions on the economy and free trade, in line with his critical stance towards socialism and his defense of economic freedom.
