The Italian technical director leaves his position after a little more than a year in charge of the national football team of an Asian country.
The decision for the coach's departure has been confirmed by internal sources of the team, who reported that a mutual agreement was reached for the Italian coach's exit.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to have coached this team. I will always remember the players and the fans fondly," said the Italian in an official statement after announcing his resignation.
During his management, the Italian coach worked on the team's development and achieved significant advances in the players' performance, although the sports results were not as expected.
