Rio Cuarto, Cordoba — A 19-year-old man will stand trial for the alleged repeated sexual grooming of minors under constant threats. According to the Argentine News Agency, based on the case described by the Río Negro Public Ministry, the Multifuero Instruction Prosecutor's Office in La Carlota, led by Romina Wisnivetzky, ordered the case to be elevated to trial. The decision was made after the conclusion of the investigation phase. The case has been referred to the First Nomination Criminal and Correctional Chamber of the city of Rio Cuarto. The accused, Juan Gabriel Baquines, is charged with contacting minors via telecommunications for sexual purposes. The investigation was initiated following complaints that led to the collection of necessary evidence to detain the accused, who is currently in preventive custody at Penitentiary Establishment No. 6.
