
The gang responsible for the brutal crime against Lucas Díaz in Tortuguitas during an attempted robbery has been dismantled, and seven people were arrested after several raids. At gunpoint, they demanded their belongings, and there the victim lunged at one of the thieves, who shot him at point-blank range in the leg. The criminals fled the scene without completing the robbery, and it was confirmed that the young father died in the hospital.
Last Tuesday, Lucas was walking with his partner and their baby when they were surprised by motorcycle robbers. One of those involved is a city police officer. In the last few hours, according to Argentine News Agency, three raids were conducted to locate the criminals, members of the gang that murdered the 21-year-old in Tortuguitas in front of his family.
Following the operations, it was confirmed that five men were arrested, including the one identified as the shooter, with the last name Aguirre, and two women, one of whom is a city police officer working in Villa Zabaleta. Additionally, two helmets similar to those recorded in the incident and a CAL pistol were seized during the raids.
The police reported that investigations continue to determine if there are more people involved in the crime against Lucas Díaz. The detainees will be made available to justice in the coming hours, and it is expected to fully clarify this tragic event that shocked the community.
