In Tortuguitas, Buenos Aires, dozens of people gathered to demand justice for the murder of Lucas Díaz, a 21-year-old young man who was attacked by two motorbike thieves in front of his girlfriend and his baby. The crime has shocked the community, generating a call for an end to insecurity and increased police patrols in the area.

According to Abril, Lucas's partner, the attack occurred when they were returning from buying a tortilla for their snack. Two armed criminals approached them, and despite Abril handing over their belongings, the criminals shot Lucas, severely injuring him in the leg. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Lucas did not survive.

The tragic event, captured by security cameras in the area, shows Lucas asking for help as the criminals escape. After intense investigations, seven people were arrested, including the alleged shooter, with the last name Aguirre, and a police officer who worked in Villa Zabaleta.

In the operations carried out, helmets similar to those used in the crime, a CAL. 9 MM pistol with three magazines, ammunition, cell phones, and the front part of a motorcycle model linked to the robbery were confiscated. In a gesture of solidarity and support, both delivery workers and neighbors joined in a march to demand justice for Lucas Díaz, also remembering other victims of insecurity in the region, such as Sebastián Ochoa and Zaira Rodríguez.

"Lucas is a hero, he saved me and my baby," were Abril's emotional words, acknowledging her partner's sacrifice in an attempt to protect them. The community, shaken by this violent crime, hopes that justice will act firmly and that this tragic event will serve as a wake-up call against the growing wave of crime in the area.
