Medical Recommendations for Diego Maradona Revealed

Pedro Pablo Di España, one of the seven accused in the death of Diego Armando Maradona, always consulted with the dietitian, when the football legend was residing in a private house in the town of San Andrés, located in the Tigre district of Buenos Aires. On the 'Tigre WhatsApp group,' Di España constantly consulted medical specialists Ricardo Almirón, Dākhiana Madrid, coordinator Mariano Perroni, and the head of home treatment Swiss Medical, Edits Fortini regarding nutrition, medications, and treatments for Maradona. He gave advice and instructions to specialists.

On November 13, 2020, Di España proposed medication: "Good day, if you need to record, I am Pedro Di España. For the treatment of this patient, we have two options: the first - lactulose (commercially known as Lactulon), 30 ml twice a day diluted in juice or water."

A few hours later, he asked about the condition of the former football player: "Hello. We do not have the cap of Reliveran. Many thanks. Keep in mind that they should be given four hours after the intake of psychiatric medications. According to our observations (12/11) the patient was calmer, so we chose this option for his comfort."

Di España also emphasized the need for the dietitian to analyze Maradona's diet and suggested giving the patient what could be improved. Furthermore, he noted it was important to control nutrition and prevent such incidents.

Along with the medical team and coordinator, Di España provided care and support in looking after Maradona, as witnesses noted in WhatsApp group communications, and also his work on the condition of the football legend before his tragic end.
