Massive Fight Among Graduates in Tigre Leads to Teen Hospitalizations

A massive fight with solid objects broke out between groups of graduates in the El Talar square, located in the Buenos Aires district of Tigre. According to official sources, the incident occurred yesterday when several groups of students aged 16 to 17 gathered in the square on route 197 between Chile and Pasteur streets. Following a dispute, they attacked each other and threw various blunt objects. Upon the arrival of police, the youths dispersed, with some heading to the General Pacheco square before finally leaving. From the scene, an ambulance transported two teenagers—a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl—to the Pacheco hospital. They suffered scrapes and alcohol poisoning and are out of danger. In a parallel incident, the Don Torcuato hospital admitted two other 17-year-olds for alcohol poisoning, who were in good condition at the time of treatment. Additionally, in the same El Talar square, a 16-year-old youth was detained with a knife confiscated from him, after others present identified him as a participant in the confrontation who was armed. The investigation is being handled by the San Isidro Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, and new actions are not ruled out if new information arises.
