Tragic Accident Claims Young Life in Tigre

A tragic incident took place in the exclusive gated community of Pacheco Golf Club, located in the Buenos Aires district of Tigre, when a five-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by a neighbor while playing in the street with his brother. The event occurred last Thursday around 5 PM. After the accident, the driver stopped the vehicle and, visibly shaken, broke down in tears at the scene.

The victim's father immediately took the boy to a hospital in Don Torcuato, also in the Tigre district, but medical efforts could not save him. According to initial data from the investigation led by prosecutor José Amallo of the decentralized prosecutor's office in Tigre, the boy was lying on a scooter at the time of the impact. According to preliminary reports, the woman may not have noticed the presence of the child in the roadway, which resulted in the fatal outcome. The driver, identified as M.C., 57 years old, was driving a Volkswagen Taos when she struck the child, Bosco Ramón Biedma, who was about to turn six.

The results of the breathalyzer test performed on the driver were negative, although prosecutor Amallo ordered blood extraction to rule out the use of other substances. In addition, the vehicle involved was seized for technical examination, and a thorough analysis of the security cameras of the gated community was requested in order to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident. It is still being investigated whether the child arrived alive at the medical center or died before arrival.

The case has generated shock in the local community, which is still trying to process the tragedy that occurred in an environment considered safe and private. The autopsy report confirmed that the cause of death was severe head trauma that caused internal bleeding. The investigation continues under the supervision of the Tigre prosecutor's office. The driver has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
