
The María de Guadalupe School was recognized as the best school in the world in the category of "Community Collaboration" during the "World’s Best School Prizes 2024" awards ceremony organized by T4 Education in collaboration with Accenture, American Express, and the Lemann Foundation of Brazil. This award highlights the comprehensive approach of the institution, which promotes the completion of secondary education, educational continuity, and the employment inclusion of young people.
Located in Las Tunas, in the Tigre district, the María de Guadalupe School provides education from Early Childhood to Secondary Level for around 700 students. The director of institutional development, Melu Diez, shared in an interview with Noticias Argentinas the process of applying for this international award. Diez mentioned that the school presented its history, academic achievements, and the successful employment integration of its graduates, with more than 87% of them studying or working in various institutions.
The director emphasized the implementation of a youth talent program that encourages graduates to forge their own paths and continuously improve. As recognition, the María de Guadalupe School will receive a prize of $10,000 intended for the acquisition of technological equipment, such as computers and drones, with the aim of continuing to promote the technological and educational development of the students.
