In Buenos Aires, during a neighborhood dispute in the Tigre area, a 7-year-old boy was injured by a gunshot. Police have arrested his 25-year-old aunt on charges of 'attempted homicide'. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the victim, identified by the initials F.G.V., was shot in the chest at the intersection of Dorrego and Quintana streets, in an area known as 'La Trapito', in the locality of Ricardo Rojas. He was urgently transferred to the Materno Infantil Hospital in Tigre. Officers from the 6th Police Station arrived at the scene and confirmed that Alexis Almada, alias 'Tom', NN Vieytes, alias 'Perotti', and Ayelén Anríquez, a relative of the victim, fired the shots, one of which hit the minor. The UFI Benavídez is leading the investigation, taking witness statements, analyzing security camera footage, and conducting fieldwork that led to the identification of the boy's aunt. A search warrant was obtained, and Anríquez was apprehended for 'attempted homicide'. According to testimonies, the woman provided weapons to her accomplices and incited the confrontation. F.G.V. remains hospitalized at the Posadas Hospital in serious condition after undergoing surgery.
