Buenos Aires, February 10 (NA) – The defense of Emerenciano Sena, one of those sentenced to life imprisonment for the femicide of Cecilia Strzyzowski, announced that it will appeal the sentence handed down this Tuesday in the province of Chaco. “We already have the appeal for cassation ready,” stated Ricardo Osuna in a conversation with the Argentine News Agency, adding that he will file this appeal together with the other lawyers. Emerenciano, father of César and husband of Marcela Acuña, received a life sentence for being considered a necessary participant in the aggravated homicide by kinship and by mediating gender-based violence.
