35th National Mate Festival in Paraná

Paraná, a city in Entre Ríos province, will celebrate its 35th National Mate Festival this Friday, February 6th, and Saturday, February 7th. The event features free admission, three stages, fairs, gastronomy, and two nights of live music. The 2025 edition drew over 100,000 people, and this year the festival returns with a powerful artistic lineup and an experience designed for community enjoyment. This time, the main stars will be Lali, Los Nocheros, Los Caballos de la Quema, Rombai, Coti, Gauchito Club, and Raly Barrionuevo, according to the Argentine News Agency. This edition once again puts mate at the center of the stage for what it is: a daily ritual that identifies us and spans generations. The city began setting up the stage on Monday. Beyond the live shows, the Festival offers a complete experience that blends culture, tradition, and local life: a fair of entrepreneurs, art proposals, a gastronomic courtyard run by city clubs, activities for children, and the classic 'Cebadores' Competition, one of the most anticipated attractions that celebrates popular knowledge about mate and brings together participants and visitors with prizes and recognitions. Because in Argentina, mate is not just a drink; it is a minimal daily ceremony, a friendly excuse to gather, and a habit that accompanies both silence and conversation. With an audience that grows year after year, the Festival has become one of the major summer events in the region, with thousands of people coming to Paraná to experience a popular celebration that mobilizes the entire city. The venue will be the Plaza de las Colectividades, with free entry to the grounds from 6:00 PM, in an event that is already one of the country's most popular gatherings.
