The Federal Investment Council, together with provincial governments, has organized an event aimed at constructing a growth model that articulates investment, employment, and local capacities in the long term. Six provincial governors participated in this day, sharing their visions and priorities to strengthen the country's productive capacities.
The leaders emphasized the need to work together on a federal agenda that promotes development, competitiveness, and inclusion. During the panel that discussed Argentina's productive future, production ministers from different provinces agreed on the importance of strengthening regional economies and economic federalism.
The event, organized by the CFI and the government of Entre Ríos, brought together representatives from the public, private, and academic sectors to discuss the structural challenges of productive development from a federal perspective. It was structured around three thematic axes: production, innovation, and financing.
In the words of Ignacio Lamothe, Secretary General of the Federal Investment Council, "I am convinced of dialogue as a tool to transform good ideas into concrete policies that improve people's lives." The proposed federal roadmap aims to establish priorities, coordinate public policies, and generate interprovincial agreements to address the challenges of productive development.
During the day, various successful experiences of startups, provincial agencies, and private actors that are fostering dynamic environments of creation and investment were presented. This meeting, the first of several planned in different regions of the country, is crucial to strengthening the federal vision and promoting consensus among the involved actors.
Public policies aimed at diversifying the productive matrix, fostering the generation of quality jobs, and boosting strategic sectors with local roots were debated. In the session dedicated to technological innovation and the knowledge economy, the potential of these sectors as drivers of regional development was highlighted.
The importance of incorporating technological capacities into the productive framework was another key point emphasized at the event. The financing panel analyzed the tools available to facilitate access to credit, especially for SMEs and local enterprises. In the words of Rogelio Frigerio, Governor of Entre Ríos, "We need to devote more energy to building consensus and less to marking differences."
In conclusion, this meeting represents a significant step towards promoting a federal future for Argentina, where dialogue and collaboration among different actors are presented as key elements for sustainable long-term development.
