The Ministry of Security, led by Patricia Bullrich, is offering a substantial reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Luciana Muñoz, a young woman who has been missing in the province of Neuquén since July 2024.
According to Resolution 1224/2025, published in the Official Gazette, the Unit for Crimes against Persons of the Provincial Public Prosecutor's Office, headed by Andrés Guillermo Azar, requested, via an official letter on August 25, 2025, that a reward be established for individuals who, having not participated in the criminal acts, provide useful information to locate the young woman.
In the document, signed by Bullrich, it is highlighted that the main hypothesis being considered in the case is human trafficking. In response to this request, the security ministry approved the offer of a 10 million peso reward for anyone with information on Muñoz's whereabouts. She was last seen on July 13, 2024, between 11:00 and 12:00, near her home in the Gran Neuquén Norte neighborhood.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue down jacket, a black polo shirt, light blue jeans, black urban-style sneakers with white soles and laces.
The young woman has the following physical description: slim build, 1.50 m tall, straight light brown/blonde hair, brown eyes, tan skin, and several tattoos: one on the back of her left hand, a flower or mandala covering a burn; on her left shoulder, a heart with an infinity sign inside; and on her right thigh, a rose tattoo.
"The payment of the reward will be made in this Ministry or at the place designated by the representative of this State portfolio, prior to a report from the intervening authority on the merit of the information provided in order to preserve the identity of the informant," the resolution details.
From the outset of the case, the provincial Ministry of Security and Governor Rolando Figueroa allocated a 100 million peso reward for anyone providing information on Luciana.
