
The Provincial Government of Santa Cruz participated in the Argentina Oil and Gas Patagonia 2024 exhibition in Neuquén with the aim of showcasing the province's potential in hydrocarbon production, highlighting the importance of investments to reactivate the local and regional economy.
At the event, the Secretary of State for Hydrocarbons of the Ministry of Energy and Mining, Juan Carlos Morales, and the president of FOMICRUZ S.E., Oscar Vera, formally presented Santa Cruz to the invited entrepreneurs, conveying greetings from Governor Claudio Vidal and Minister Jaime Álvarez. They emphasized the beginning of a new stage in hydrocarbon production in the province, highlighting the potential of Palermo Aike.
Officials highlighted the encouraging results obtained in the Palermo Aike Formation, expressing their optimism regarding job creation and the reactivation of the local and regional economy. They indicated that, if these results are confirmed, Santa Cruz would face a promising future in the field of hydrocarbon production.
During the inauguration of the stand at the exhibition, authorities stated that the economic and productive impact of Vaca Muerta is being observed and that, together with private sector investment and the commitment of workers, the key elements for the development of a new stage in Santa Cruz, based on the production and industrialization of the region's natural resources, are in place.
