The authorities of the city of Neuquén announced that starting Monday the 20th, residents will be able to receive their driver’s licenses at home through 'Muni Express', a virtual platform offered by the municipality. The entire process will be conducted online to simplify the registration process.
Lucas Padin, the general director of Driver's Licenses, explained that once the application is completed on the portal, personal data must be verified and the specific requirements for each type of license uploaded into the system. The delivery of the cards will take place from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 2 PM at the Neuquén Terminal Station.
The 'Muni Express' program was implemented in early January to facilitate various procedures for taxpayers without the need to appear in person. Among the services offered are the renewal of driver’s licenses, the exemption from payment of stamped documents for debt clearance, payment waivers for car buyers, and the online licensing process for businesses.
The initiative from the Municipality of La Matanza also allows drivers to obtain or renew their licenses without the need for a prior appointment at the San Justo Dependency. This change aims to optimize municipal services and meet the growing demand for procedures in the area.
It is important to mention that those drivers who need to carry out the procedure in the localities of González Catán or Ramos Mejía must request a prior appointment through the traditional system implemented.
