Hurlingham Municipality recruits new police officers

Within the Comprehensive Security Plan promoted by the commune, the Municipality of Hurlingham launched a call to add applicants to the Buenos Aires Provincial Police to serve in the city. According to the Argentine News Agency, the campaign is aimed at those aged 17 to 29 who wish to begin the selection process for the provincial force. The political point of the announcement is the support scheme: the municipality stated that, for the 'first time' in the district, it offers follow-up at all stages and an 'Incentive Scholarship' for those who are selected and enter the training school. This move is part of the security agenda of the Greater Buenos Aires area, where municipalities often compete in management by showing recruitment, prevention, and coordination capabilities with the Province.
