Ensenada Municipality Builds Provincial House and Expands Rambla

The Municipality of Ensenada reported on the progress of the Rambla Municipal expansion project and the construction of the Casa de la Provincia. This project combines urban intervention with the concentration of services for paperwork in a single point within the district. According to the Argentine News Agency, the building plans to house five provincial bodies for centralized attention, aiming to avoid travel and streamline procedures that are currently scattered across different locations. The initiative also includes a second sector with a public use profile: a gastronomic promenade with a restaurant and public restrooms, designed as a complement to the rambla and the circuit walk. From an urban planning perspective, the Municipality highlighted the preservation of surrounding elements: the historic facade and the platform of the old station will be conserved, integrating them into the project as part of the local heritage. With the advancement of the works, the expected impact is divided into two areas: on one hand, an increased offer of services; on the other, a new space for circulation and permanence, with economic activity associated with the promenade.
