"Right to the Future" Movement Launches in Corrientes

"The Right to the Future" movement (MDF) made its first official step in Corrientes, with a strong message of unity, federalism, and "bottom-up" organization. The event was attended by former Buenos Aires mayors who are direct envoys of Governor Axel Kicillof. The movement's goal is to strengthen the national project and build an alternative to the current political model.

The "Right to the Future" movement (MDF) took its first formal step in Corrientes, with a strong message of unity, federalism, and "bottom-up" organization. The event, hosted by the mayor of Empedrado, Fernando Chara, was attended by former Buenos Aires mayors Alberto Descalzo (Ituzaingó) and Julio Pereyra (Florencio Varela), who are direct envoys from Governor Axel Kicillof to consolidate his national project. According to Noticias Argentinas, the presentation brought together numerous legislators and mayors who see in Kicillof the figure to lead the reconstruction of the movement. Among the attendees were national deputy Nancy Sand; provincial deputies Marlen Gauna and Emiliano Fernández; former national deputy Jorge Romero, former senator Martín Barrionuevo, and former provincial councilor Félix Pacayut. Also present were local mayors Norberto Villordo (Santa Lucía), Vilma Ojeda (San Isidro), Cristian Ledezma (Felipe Yofré), and Edgar Galarza (Mburucuyá); former mayor of Saladas Daniel Alterats; councilor from the provincial capital Mercedes Laprovitta; as well as social leaders and councilors. Likewise, the technical teams from the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, headed by Javier Alonso, were present. Through a message sent to those present, the Buenos Aires governor celebrated the plenary as a "milestone" in the construction of an alternative to the current model. "It is very important to start articulating throughout the country with those who want to build an alternative."
