Buenos Aires, Feb 16 (NA) – A 23-year-old man collapsed while playing an amateur soccer match and died in the city of Córdoba. The tragic event occurred on Sunday night when the victim was at a sports facility in the Ituzaingó neighborhood. According to local media accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the young man suddenly fainted. Police received a 911 alert, responded to the scene, and found the victim unconscious on the ground. Emergency personnel performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but the service also arrived at the property located at the intersection of Galileo and Futon streets, and health workers continued the efforts without success, confirming that the young man died from a cardiorespiratory arrest. Justice is investigating the incident and trying to determine the circumstances of the death that shocked those present.
