Today, a dangerous 16-year-old criminal escaped in an unusual manner while being transferred from La Plata to Azul. The escape took place in Brandsen when the young man requested to go to the bathroom at a gas station and attacked the guard before fleeing on foot.
The fugitive, accused of homicide, took advantage of a lapse in the guard's attention at the YPF located on Route 215 and Ituzaingó. After the incident, a broad security operation was deployed in the center of Brandsen and surrounding areas to prevent him from escaping the area.
Security forces implemented vehicle checks, intensive patrols, and the participation of different police units to locate the fugitive. Residents were urged to exercise caution and report any relevant information by calling 911.
