Berazategui Municipality Publishes New Year's Guard Schedule

The Berazategui municipality published the New Year's guard schedule, focusing on the continuity of healthcare, emergencies, and essential services, as well as recommendations to avoid waste management issues during peak hours.

Regarding urban hygiene, the municipality asked residents not to put out household waste on December 31st to reduce accumulation and overflow in containers and on sidewalks. The service will resume its normal operation during the holiday, with specific instructions depending on the area and collection circuit.

In the health sector, emergency care has been arranged at various CAPS (Community Health Centers) in the district, with coverage in points of West Berazategui and localities such as Hudson, Gutiérrez, and El Pato, to respond to low and medium complexity queries and make referrals when necessary.

For emergencies, the plan includes the operation of the SAME/CEM and assistance lines, as well as coordination with the local system for referrals and transfers in case of urgent situations. The municipality reminded that telephone consultation should be prioritized in critical situations and unnecessary trips should be avoided.

According to the Argentine News Agency, the guard service for infrastructure areas that handle sensitive issues such as public lighting, drains/sewers, and contingencies affecting circulation or public safety will be operational, with crews subject to operational availability.

Finally, the Municipality indicated that the Municipal Operations Center (COM) will maintain contact channels for emergency reporting and territorial coordination, and insisted on the need to provide complete reports (address, reference, and type of incident) to expedite the response.
