The Municipality of Berazategui is advancing repaving works on street 109 between 5 and 11, in the María Angélica neighborhood. This intervention aims to optimize vehicular and pedestrian circulation on a key artery in the district. The project also includes the construction of sidewalks and the installation of a new stormwater drainage system. According to the Argentine News Agency, the work front covers approximately 700 linear meters, with a final section still pending and a schedule that projects completion in the coming weeks as the preparation and base stages for concreting advance. From the local Executive, they highlighted that this is an intervention on a corridor that connects avenues and has high neighborhood flow, so the objective is to reduce deterioration, improve transitability, and give greater security to the daily movement of neighbors, businesses, and services. On a technical level, it was indicated that the previous pavement showed wear and that the new work scheme will incorporate hydraulic improvements to prevent water accumulation during heavy rains, with a direct impact on the durability of the pavement and the accessibility of the environment. The municipality plans to maintain signage and traffic regulation in the intervention area, with precautionary circulation recommendations while fronts remain open and specific detours are coordinated.
