Independiente Sanctions Players Pellegrino and Tarzia

The management of Independiente decided to impose financial sanctions on footballers Marco Pellegrino and Diego Tarzia. Pellegrino, a defender, and Tarzia, a forward, were excluded from the squad after participating in a party on a yacht, causing an uproar in the club from Avellaneda. This action led to both players being removed from the team for four matches by the decision of coach Julio Vaccari.

Although Tarzia, who was raised in the club, could be considered again or loaned out, the situation with Pellegrino is more complex. According to his contract, if he does not play at least 60% of the possible matches, Independiente will have to pay 250 thousand dollars to Milan in Italy, the owner of his transfer. The decision to reintegrate these players into the first team rests with Vaccari.

The financial sanction imposed by the management consists of reducing Pellegrino and Tarzia's salaries by 50%. With the season nearing its end, the club will have to decide what to do with these two players. The decision regarding their participation in future matches will depend on the coach, who apparently found something more serious that concerned him regarding the party where other teammates were present.
