The second half was more even, with few clear goal opportunities for both teams. Racing had dangerous moments but could not extend their lead. Finally, the team led by Gustavo Costas sealed their qualification for the final of the 2024 Copa Sudamericana where they will face Brazil's Cruzeiro.
This victory takes Racing to their first international final since 1992, when they competed in the Supercopa Sudamericana.
