Racing Faces Corinthians in Copa Sudamericana Semi-Final

In the first leg between Racing and Corinthians, there was a 1-1 draw, but the Argentine team advanced to the final of the Copa Sudamericana thanks to their 1-0 victory obtained in Avellaneda with a goal from Alfredo Graciani. Racing, also known as the "Academy", showed a solid performance in the knockout stage and secured a place in the final of the tournament.

Racing's recent history in continental tournaments has been rather scarce regarding semifinals. The last time the Argentine team reached this stage in an international tournament was in the 1997 Copa Libertadores, where they failed to advance to the final. However, Racing has a history of success in South American competitions, having won the Copa Libertadores in 1967, their only title in this tournament to date.

The decisive match will take place at the Presidente Perón Stadium, known as the Cilindro de Avellaneda, where Racing will attempt to overcome Corinthians and advance to the final of the Copa Sudamericana. The team led by Gustavo Costas aims to make history and add a new achievement to their trajectory in international competitions. The Racing fans are eagerly hoping that the team can replicate the feat of 1967 and lift the Copa Sudamericana trophy.
