The lineups of Independiente and Racing for the upcoming Avellaneda Classic have been revealed, which will take place this Sunday at 16:00 at the Libertadores de América – Ricardo Enrique Bochini stadium.
The match will mark the first classic confrontation of the season between these two teams. Julio Vaccari, head coach of Independiente, and Gustavo Costas, coach of Racing, have confirmed the eleven starting players that will begin the match.
On one hand, Independiente will line up with Gabriel Arias in goal; Gastón Martirena, Nazareno Colombo, Marco Di Cesare, and Gabriel Rojas in defense; Agustín Almendra, Santiago Sosa, Juan Nardoni in midfield; and Maximiliano Salas, Santiago Solari, and Adrián Martínez in attack.
Meanwhile, Racing will align Rodrigo Rey as goalkeeper; Federico Vera, Kevin Lomónaco, Sebastián Valdéz, and Álvaro Angulo in the defensive line; Iván Marcone, Felipe Loyola, and Lautaro Millán in the midfield; and Santiago Montiel, Diego Tarzia, and Gabriel Ávalos in attack.
