The coordinator of the youth divisions of Independiente, Hugo Tocalli, commented on the performance of Luciano Cabral in the team and expressed his confidence in the player's potential. Tocalli recounted that he met Cabral in Argentinos Juniors and highlighted his ability as a playmaker, mentioning that he advised him after his release from prison to join Chilean football, which resulted in a successful campaign in Coquimbo and later in Mexico.

During the time Cabral was imprisoned, Tocalli revealed that he encouraged him to keep training so he wouldn't abandon his football career. "Julio will find the right point for him to develop what he knows," added Tocalli, referring to Independiente's coach, Julio Falcioni. He also emphasized Cabral's determination to wear the number 10 of Ricardo Bochini and become his successor, comparing him to the influence that Mago Valdivia had on the Chilean national team.

In an interview for the radio program Fútbol y Rosca, Tocalli emphasized that he always kept hope of seeing Cabral get out of prison and highlighted his crucial role in the recent victory against Talleres de Córdoba. Additionally, he shared that he maintained conversations with Cabral during his time in prison, showing his support and constant motivation for the player to persevere in his sports career.

"I always had hope that he would get out of prison soon," mentioned Tocalli, highlighting Cabral's determination and potential to contribute significantly to the development of Independiente.
