Five young people, four of them minors, were detained accused of robbing a taxi driver in the Buenos Aires district of Avellaneda. Police sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the investigation began on August 3 when the suspects posed as passengers and boarded the victim's vehicle. The accused threatened the driver with a knife and a firearm to steal cash, clothing, and a cell phone. Police also seized eight mobile phones and other evidence relevant to the case. The oldest of the detainees was arrested, while the other four minors were placed in a Care and Derivation Center (CAD) for the crime of robbery in a group.
