Racing makes offer to Argentine footballer Valentín Carboni

Racing Club has made an offer to Argentine winger Valentín Carboni. His rights belong to Italian Inter, but he is currently on loan at Genoa. The player could become one of the club's summer reinforcements. According to Noticias Argentinas agency, the operation was discussed between Diego Milito, president of Racing, and Javier Zanetti, vice president of Inter, who played together for the Italian club and the Argentine national team. The 20-year-old forward, known for his speed and dribbling skills, has reportedly given his approval to the proposal and could make his debut in Argentine football, having been developed in Italy. Carboni is currently at Genoa, and although his loan does not expire until mid-year, the lack of playing time could lead Inter to terminate the loan and send him out on loan again, this time to Racing. If an agreement is reached, it would be a six-month loan with no option to buy. The short duration is due to the organization of European football seasons, which, unlike in South America, begin mid-year.
