Racing Opens Stadium for Sudamericana Final Fans

The Racing Club will offer its supporters the chance to witness the final of the Copa Sudamericana live from their stadium. This initiative aims to ensure that fans who were unable to get tickets or chose not to travel do not miss this special event. This move is not new for Racing, as in 2001, after becoming champion of the Apertura, they carried out a similar action.

During that tournament, the team drew 1-1 against Vélez at the José Amalfitani stadium, where the visiting stand was filled with Racing fans. For those who did not get tickets, a giant screen was installed at the famous Cilindro stadium, allowing fans to enjoy this significant achievement.

The final between Racing and Cruzeiro will take place next Saturday, November 23, at Nueva Olla, Asunción. After 32 years, Racing will compete in an international final, and their supporters want to be part of this historic day. It has not yet been clarified whether only members will have access to the stadium or if non-members will also be allowed entry.

As part of the prevention of potential inconveniences, four screens will be installed on the field to ensure that all attendees can comfortably enjoy the match. Unlike the experience in 2001, this time spectators will not be allowed on the playing field.

The song created by the fans back then says: "Two fields and the Obelisk were filled with passion." This melody recalls the event where giant screens were installed, giving fans the opportunity to celebrate together an unforgettable title.
