With this triumph, the albiceleste team finished in third place in Group H, behind Egypt and Croatia, the host countries along with Norway and Denmark.
In this crucial match, Los Gladiadores came in needing a win after suffering two defeats against Egypt and Croatia. In the first half of the match, the Argentine team showed solidity and effectiveness, minimizing errors and gaining an advantage to lead at halftime with a score of 16-11 in their favor.
In the second half, Argentina maintained its determination to advance to the next round and avoid playing in the President's Cup. Despite a comeback by Bahrain that tied the score at 24-24, Los Gladiadores managed to keep calm, and with key interventions from their goalkeeper and captain Leonel Maciel, secured the victory by 26-25.
