Controversy in Argentine Football: YouTuber Plays in Match

The failure led to a decision by the Argentine football club Deportivo Riestra to include a player without professional experience in the main squad, which sparked discussions in the football community of the country. The club chose a content creator on YouTube named Spring to participate in the match against the leader of the championship, Felices Sarsfield, last Monday. However, Spring was replaced after 78 seconds without touching the ball.

Spring has around 15 million subscribers on his social media channels, and the announcement of Riestra's inclusion on the platform Twitter (previously known as X) received about 3.4 million views, while an ordinary match typically attracts only a few thousand. Football personalities in Argentina sharply criticize the club's decision.
