Argentina's National Team Prepares for Paraguay Match

The Argentine National Team is preparing for its upcoming commitment in the South American Qualifiers with a final training session before traveling to Paraguay. This will be the second training session with all the summoned players, except for the injured Germán Pezzella and Lisandro Martínez, who have been ruled out. Facundo Medina, a player from Lens in France, has been called up in their place.

After the practice, it is expected that head coach Lionel Scaloni will define the starting eleven that will face Paraguay and then give a press conference. Later, the delegation will depart for Asunción, the Paraguayan capital.

Regarding the possible formation for the match against Paraguay, Scaloni could line up a team similar to the one that played the final against France in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, with the only difference being the inclusion of Lautaro Martínez instead of Ángel Di María. There is also a possibility that Leandro Paredes or Giovani Lo Celso could replace Martínez in the starting eleven.

Possible formation of the Argentine National Team against Paraguay: Emiliano "Dibu" Martínez; Nahuel Molina, Nicolás Otamendi, Cristian "Cuti" Romero, Nicolás Tagliafico; Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister, Rodrigo de Paul; Lionel Messi, Julián Álvarez, and Lautaro Martínez, with the alternative of Leandro Paredes or Giovani Lo Celso.
